MAGI’s Training and Resource Development Services offer a wide array of capacity-building programs designed to strengthen organizational effectiveness and community development initiatives. These include foundational and advanced training in program and project management, organizational development, strategic planning, financial management, leadership, and tailored training module creation. Through interactive seminar-workshops and practical training sessions, TRDS equips individuals and organizations with the tools and knowledge to plan, implement, and sustain impactful programs aligned with their goals.

Open Enrollment Course Offerings

MAGI offers a diverse range of participatory management courses—both basic and advanced—along with workshops on gender mainstreaming, gender-responsive project planning, monitoring and evaluation, module creation, and more. These publicly announced courses are available at least twice a year and are open to organizations such as people’s organizations (POs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local government units (LGUs), cooperatives, academic institutions, and interested individuals. Each multi-module course is tailored to the processes and settings of development organizations, ensuring relevance and practical application.

Organization Specific and Customized Training Services

MAGI specializes in organization-specific training services, which are increasingly in demand as organizations focus on strengthening their internal capacities. These services are designed after conducting a thorough assessment of the training needs of the requesting organization. The resulting program is exclusive to the partner organization and includes training sessions and technical assistance tailored to their unique goals. This personalized approach has proven especially effective for NGOs and POs in Mindanao, fostering impactful organizational development.

Training Accompaniment

As a trusted training provider, MAGI responds to calls for training proposals from various sectors and invitations from private organizations, LGUs, and civil society organizations (CSOs). Over the past decade, MAGI has delivered expert accompaniment in areas such as results-oriented planning, strategic and competency-based training development, management courses, gender sensitivity workshops, and monitoring and evaluation. These services are designed to deliver tangible outcomes and support the specific needs of diverse sectors.

Formation of Community-Based Training Animators

MAGI is committed to increasing the number of skilled community-based training animators to serve as human resource providers in their local communities. These homegrown animators, trained in result-oriented project planning, are already active across Mindanao. They facilitate training activities in or near their subregional clusters, ensuring that training services are accessible and relevant to the needs of local communities.
